Human trafficking (trafficking in persons) is a crime and human rights abuse. It has no place in our communities and society at large.

Human trafficking poses significant threats and risks to economic development. It compromises national and economic security, undermines the rule of law, and harms the well-being of individuals.

With an estimated 27.6 million victims worldwide at any given time, human traffickers prey on people of all ages, backgrounds, and nationalities, exploiting them for their own profit. Human trafficking is a crime of exploitation that needs to be stopped.
